“Development isn’t delivering.” What do we do?

However successful and established a product may be, there are times when the business starts to think development isn’t delivering and that we could do twice as much, and do it faster. All of development? Or just part of it? Some managers agree, others don’t; two approaches, different values. Either way, we need a shared view of reality.

I’ll talk about how we investigated, reached agreement, formed a common approach, and put it into practice. Things seem better, but the business still thinks we can do more. I’ll share how we made our processes transparent and learned to explain to the business what’s happening in development.
